For Installation Instructions & Application: RVC Owner’s Manual.pdf

The most common issue with the installation is locating the analog tachometer signal which can usually be accomplished by contacting your boat or specific engine manufacturer.

Alternately you can install a tachometer signal generator which is clamped to your alternator cable and eliminates the need for electrical integration into your boats electrical wiring system.

Many boats equipped with Perfect Pass also utilizes an analog tachometer signal and the connection can be done at the wiring harness where Perfect Pass is integrated into the electrical system.
